JOIN the RURAL CREATIVE CHALLENGE and get access to funding from Creative UK

Writer: Claire VenusClaire Venus

What is the Rural Creative Challenge?

We are inviting North of Tyne creatives to take part in this programme of support to develop projects against 7 key themes of interest. We, the Rural Design Centre Innovation Project and Creative Fuse, have identified key themes through working with rurally based creative practitioners and listening to their thoughts on current opportunities.

We have joined up with Creative UK who have grant funding available which enables those who take part in this programme to apply for a share of £20,000 to bring their project to life. If enough quality applications are received the pot can be expanded to £40,000, enabling more projects to be developed via grants.
