Culture Northumberland was set up at the start of the world wide pandemic in 2020 to support freelance artists and creatives living and/or working in the cultural sector.
We promote a joined up and inclusive voice and offer a platform for artists and creatives. We are a conduit to support the needs and ambitions of the sector to enable growth and sustainability by connecting, amplifying and advocating for culture and creativity in Northumberland and sharing more from the people who make it all happen.

Cultural Survey 2025
A Cultural Strategy sets out a shared vision of what we want for our County of Northumberland. It sets out our priorities and what we want to achieve to benefit those who work in the arts, culture and heritage sector and those that take part and are audiences and visitors.
